Its a great great world (27/1/11)
This is for old people. For people born before the world war till the separation of Singapore from Malaysia. This movie is entirely spoken in dialects of mostly Hokkien, Teochew, Cantonese and Hainanese. The accents of these languages were really protrayed out. It would be a history lesson for those who do not know anything about the entertainment industry during the 40's and a memory recall for those who have been through those times. To me, honestly, its boring. It was lame, old fashion, really like watching movies during the 70s. It would be more realistic if this was in black and white. 2/5. Not recommended for young people.
