This film though seems like it possess one of those hard core historic image, however you don't have to read the history throughout the story. It's basically all about a captain in the roman army, who brave himself against all odds, all mindsets and physical challenges to get back the eagle statue that is extremely significant to these roman soldiers. It was lost during a battle to one of their enemies. The weird thing is, it's supposed to be roman soldiers, but the actors speak American English. The beginning part was alittle draggy. It was difficult to understand how and why was a servant picked to live by the captain to serve him on this journey but his abilities began to unfold in the later part. Because of the little understanding between the captain and his servant, probably the lack of time to bond, the servant has to execute some of this smart moves ahead of the captain's approval or knowledge, to the point where the roles were reverse. The captain became the servant. It seems like a betrayal but that was necessary. Watch to find out the exciting journey and tense moments as each scene towards the end seems like a dead end to their solution. Touching ending. 3.5/5
